Monday evening we had two of our friends come over and help arrange things. Kristin promptly put herself in the kitchen and devoted herself to taking stuff out of boxes and putting them in drawers and shelves while Lisa and Teresa started putting furniture back together.
In many, many ways it is easier to "set up shop" than it is to box everything up and put it all away. Even so, it has taken me the better part of a week to get things arranged and it's still not quite all done.
Tuesday was getting big strokes done. Wednesday I spent most of the day organizing my new studio. Thursday was working in the garage and collapsing the mountain of boxes and organizing all the tools and the food storage. There is something *deeply* satisfying about arranging the cans and boxes on shelves and taking inventory of what you've got and how much of it.
It was also gratifying to have Lisa come home every night and give me big WOWs noting how much I had accomplished. She'd jolly well better be appreciative. It not for me she'd still be living out of boxes.

It's WAY easier to unbox than box, and more satisfying, too, as you see organization taking shape.

That said, my pantry is still a wreck. Too much food, and too few ways to get back there to see it.
