Train Horns

I can hear it when it starts...as it plays the sound fades away. Lisa says she can't hear it.

Ugh. That's an annoying sound. It actually vibrates my teeth! It sounds like a dentist's drill or a crazy ultrasonic cleaner.

I remember taking a mandatory hearing test when I worked in a steel stamping plant. It was stupidly loud in there and we had to wear hearing protection at all times. As a result, the company would test us every year.

The technician that tested me was amazed at how good my hearing was. I was able to identify every sound he played for me. Just for a lark he played me a sound that is supposed to be outside the range of normal human hearing. It was faint but I heard it. His jaw nearly hit the floor.

I'm really pleased that according to this test my hearing is still reasonably good. (apparently) Thanks for that!

Small miracles I suppose. My glasses prescription became 50% worse in the last two years!

That was audibly annoying. Made the muscles on my neck tense up.
Good to know I can hear things not meant for those under 25.
