A question to all readers. What does "social justice" mean actually?

To which I would add, actively applying the Golden Rule ("do unto others...").

There is no such thing as justice, let alone social justice. On Babylon 5, they address the problem this way: "You know, I used to think it was awful that life was so unfair. Then I thought, wouldn't it be much worse if life were fair, and all the terrible things that happen to us come because we actually deserve them? So, now I take great comfort in the general hostility and unfairness of the universe."

For me, basically, social justice is when the poor have the same rights as the rich, when the disabled have the same rights as the able-bodied, the women as the men, etc, etc...

It means a good state-supported health care system, for example, a fair judicial system, a police exempt from corruption...
