"The Atwood Machine" or "COOL!"

On a whim I typed "Atwood" in for Google images to see what came up. There were some interesting pics... but amid all the shots of Maragaret... some graphs came up. With a little digging I stumbled across "The Atwood Machine." My favorite bit... "Above all, protect the pulley!"

Perhaps...somewhere back in 1300 or 1400. All Atwoods came from the same village in England.

My line crossed the plains and helped settle Utah in 1847.

So, yes, but way, way, way, way down the line.

Absolutely facinating. I do not think that Jennifer Atwood (here in Houston) knows that. Or if she did, she did not care to share. Are the Atwoods a wide spread family?

Call me. Your machine must not be working. It doesn't even ring and picks up immediately for a message.
