"And it then exploded..."

Python vs Alligator: Winner, nobody.

Oh man...talk about an epic battle...you'll note the hindquarters of the gator protruding from the ripped out half of the python.

Talk about an ambitious sneaky snake!

Took me a while to figure the pic out... Ugh. Glad I ate before I saw, or maybe not.
I don't care what the article says, I'm afraid and I'm many miles away! ;)
Also, I think they both lost.

Geeeeeeewwwwww. You are now officially the FOURTH person on my friends list to post something about this!

One of my friends posted a "lessons learned" entry this morning. The first one was "a python explodes after trying to eat an alligator. Lesson learned? Don't overeat."

I laughed so hard at that. But...grody.

Has it been verified yet on whether that is a real photo or if it's a hoax? I told my husband about it and he said something just didn't sound right because of how pythons usually eat things.

This truly gives new meaning to the expression "His eyes were bigger than his stomach!"

Don't care if its a hoax or not, its still fun!

seems real

Snopes says it's real. That's good enough for me, they're pretty on-top of things usually.
