"Near. FAAARRR" or "At the Waterfall"

At Webster's Falls:Warning...extreme dorkiness

I think this is one of the best "Alex & Jett" pictures in years. The only one that is even remotely this good was taken in May 2002. We were in dire need of something recent & decent. (Hey, lookit! I'm a poet!)

Anyway, click the picture for the video. And again, I AM a dork...but I figure one can never be TOO wrong by doing Muppet impersonations. Who doesn't love "Near! Far!"

I'm still trying to figure out where I got even HALF of those bruises that I gleefully show off...and the one on my shin? It is fairly attractive by this point. Oooh...purple and green! There's a bit of a lump actually. I once hit myself on the shin with a croquet mallet (shut up!) and the lump was there for a year and a half. I'll be curious to observe the progress on this one.

Also, note to self...your hat backwards looks tres stupid... but it was to keep the hair out of my face. (This was shot pre haircut.)

Whaddya think sirs?

Oooo! Lookit the puppies! I love the Dobies! My Cleo is half Doberman.

As for Near and Far, yes it's very good but it's no
Mahna-Mahna ;)

Oh and for the record, you're ALL silly!

That must be a Muppet Show version. I remember the song from a very, very early Sesame Street episode (prior to 1973), and I think the response is supposed to go "a-teepee, teepee."

Okay, I SO need to go there! I've never been! Where the heck is this place; it can't be far from me and I've never even heard of it! I'm so deprived:)

There's three waterfalls all close together. Webster's Falls, Tew's Falls (which is walking distance from Webster's and worth seeing since it's very different looking) and Borer's Falls which is supposed to be near (not far heh) but which I've never been to.

Here's the map to Webster's.

Btw, the map doesn't show it very clearly but you have to drive down Harvest Rd., then Short Rd. and Fallsview to get into the park. (You can get to the Tews Falls parking lot by driving a little further down Harvest Rd.)

They were stunning. (Websters) I will have to go back at some point. Next time I am in town for any period of time I'll have to aquire a bike and you can show me some of the finer points of mountain biking Hamilton. Did I mention how much I liked Hamilton? Because I DID. A university, bike trails all over creation and a little theater, plus the pub that I went to that had the pool tables and Apple Desperado dessert. whiiiinnneeee.

I love it when you do this stuff.

And Alex sounds so Canadian when you're doing the 360° and she says "Ohh, no." I can almost hear the "eh?" at the end, and I'd bet she says "oot and aboot"

Yeah but it's a little more subtle than that. I think I drove everyone crazy by immitating their vowels.

This video is brought to you by the letters B for bruise and W for "What's the name of these falls again?"
