I wonder...

...with his passion for design and elegance merged with "It Just WORKS" intuitiveness...what a car designed by Steve Jobs would look like and do.

*brain explodes*

If nothing else, it would have a built in 100 gig iPod or something. And the user interface would be in the face of the steering wheel so one wasn't always fiddling with the dash.

It would be very expensive, but trendy in certain circles - kind of like a hybrid car.

I like the new color scheme, BTW.

Thanks. I am remembering comments made by the Disney guys that worked on Beauty and the Beast. "You can't go wrong with blue and gold."

It would be white, with lots and lots of chrome accents.

Instead of a steering wheel, it would have a click wheel.

There would be no hood. When something went wrong with it, you would send it back and they would send you a brand new car (assuming you had purchased the full AppleCare warranty on your iCar, of course!).

Plasticine sleeves in a variety of pastel colors would be sold as accessories, so you wouldn't have to worry about dings.

Naturally it wouldn't burn fossil fuels -- it would be the first car to use hydrogen fuel cell technology.

It would be more expensive than most vehicles, but better engineered and stylishly designed. It would be easily upgradable and dozens of companies would quickly clamor around it looking to produce and sell hip accessories that go with it.

It would have multiple FireWire and Ultra-Wide SCSI ports to upload fuel and driving data simultaenously.

It would come equipped with in-dash iSight cameras and flat-panel windshield displays.

It would come standard with a jeans-and-black-turtleneck ensemble for the driver.

It would have iDrive already installed, and Dashboard Widgets, of course!
