I then started looking at movable type and started bugging him because HE is the programmer NOT me (like I understand anything about Perl) to see what he could do to Make It Go. I just wanted a nice clean site to host my comic strip where I could post comments and updates and basically make the comic site look like it wasn't totally all ghetto.
He does...something...so if you typed in www.redsparrowcomic.com it would take you to the opening page of Red Sparrow...but everything else in it linked back to www.tg-studios.com . I thought he had created a new account and just dumped everything from T.G. Studios into the Red Sparrow account and made the opening index page the Red Sparrow page.
So...today thinking I am going to get the ball rolling on this "Can we PLEASE GET THIS REVISED SITE UP AND GOING, IT DOES HAVE OVER 100 STRIPS NOW!" project I delete all of the contents out of www.redsparrowcomic.com and replace them with the "getting started" movable type files.
HOWEVER...when I went to www.redsparrowcomic.com (and if you've clicked on it, you'll notice NOTHING IS FRAKKING THERE,) and when I got a sick feeling of dread...I tried www.tg-studios.com as well...and noticed ... oh frak... it is ALSO down.
Apparently he did...something...tricky...that I do not quite understand that basically meant that I just DELETED ALL OF MY TG-STUDIOS FILES!!! Please, somebody give me a gun so I can shoot myself in the foot. Also, Please, please, please, please, please, please let them have backup.
And Mark...buddy...can you set up a www.redsparrowcomic.com that is it's own account so I NEVER have to go through this again? Thanks. You're a pal.
