Frozen...

I woke up at five...sat up to turn off the alarm and nearly screamed.

It seems the littlest movement while sitting up hurts my neck. Even a good sniff from a runny nose sends a twinge down my spine.

Needless to say I did not make it to spin this morning. I'm wondering how on earth I can navigate WORK. I may be having my roommate drive me since I can't really turn my head. Sigh.

I just wish I knew what it was that I DID.

Wow. If you have the same thing that I'm having sometimes, even going to work seems like a heroic thing to do!
What happens to me is that every movement sends my neck into a cramp, you know, the kind you can have at night in your calves?
My only remedy so far is a prescription muscle relaxant, laying down completely propped up in pillows so that I don't have to support my head myself, and swearing when I walk to the bathroom. And trust me, I really am not much of a swearer! Then the next day I can't really function yet, but the spasms are gone, and day three I'm well enough to resume life, LOL.

I really hope this passes quickly! Sending you tiger balm and a ricebag!

Ouch!!
I hope as the day has advanced you are feeling better. Perhaps in one of your crazy dreams you suffered whiplash. Ha Alternating heat and cold may help some.
