Well, my latest project got delivered and fortunately it was met with the reaction I had hoped.  Many readers of my LJ know exactly what I am talking about and more than a few helped out/pitched in.r.  Which after all is the art of making art; putting it together.  It was waaay too much fun to work on and with the assembled cast I could run with it for a very, very, very long time.  27 pages however, is plenty.

What AM I talking about?

It's all about xenologue

Thanks. It was supposed to be just 4 or 5 pages...and then, like most of my other indie projects got quickly out of control. It was so much fun to work on...because I never really KNEW what was going to happen from page to page, I'm really going to miss it.

You have created the Mighty Possum of Awesome. Well done, Jett. (I will be stealing the small sketch(es) of me for iconic purposes. Hee.)

I just like to thank everyone for not drawing me with three eyes and bucked teeth...
Although, yes, as my representation said, that's weird.

It was great! I would love to give Alex a great big hug. I also would discuss cats and quilts with Alex's mother. Ha Ha! You have me pegged.

Aww, cool. :)

LTUE tomorrow!! ^^

Come to BYU, park somewhere (who knows where), go to the Wilkinson Student Center (the famed Bookstore therein lies) and go to the 3rd floor. Signs start around the elevator. Get badge, come to panels. Yay! :)

Your panels, ma'am.
1:00-1:50:
WRIT/ART: Writing for comics, manga and graphic novels
Jake Black (M), Howard Tayler, Lee Allred, Jeanette Atwood

7:00-7:50:
ART: Webcomics--Discussion of their advantages, disadvantages, new developments, and future effects on the comics industry. Story vs. Technique, finding good ones to read, and producing your own.
We're going to have ELEVEN (11) webcomic artists. In one room. It's going to be scary but very fun. :)

Saturday-
9:00-9:50:
ART: Sequential Storytelling--Layout, backgrounds, emotions, telling the story simply, beautifully, and having it make sense--for comics, and storyboarding, etc.
Howard Tayler, Jeanette Atwood

12:00-12:50:
ART: The Future of Animation--Now that Disney isn't doing 2-D movies anymore, what's going to happen? Discussing 3D, GFX, motion capture, Pixar, Dreamworks, and Japanese Anime.
Jeanette Atwood.
Okay, problem here. The two other people in the animation industry I wanted on this panel couldn't make it (ie, they never answered their emails), so, I could cancel this panel, or I could pull in more people with opinions to just discuss everything more loosely. -_-; It's up to you. Are you willing to be the only one with actual industry knowledge in the room? Oy, gomen.

1:00-1:50:
ART: Survival in the Art World (with artists who are doing it)
Jeanette Atwood, Howard Tayler, Meghan Sherrill

More than a little crazy, but I hope you'll enjoy it. :)
