Oh crap!

So, I went and did this spinning class this morning.  4 hours later I can barely walk.  What the heck am I going to be feeling TOMORROW?

Note to self:  Drink a lot of water and take an aspirin.

Water, banana or 2, and light stretching. The stretching is mainly to help keep the muscles from really binding up. The banana (potassium) helps with muscles cramps.

A friend of mine that is a MARATHONER said spinning was the hardest things she ever did.

Ibuprofen is your friend!

Yeah, my butt is seriously kicked. I'm planning on going MWF though since I know I need to seriously ramp up my cardio and sometimes you just need someone egging you on, plus there's the whole, "I can't putz out! Everyone around me will SEE!"

Just keep moving. You'll probably be sore in the morning, but drink more water and do some gentle stretches to get your muscles warmed up before you start your day.

Spinning
Pardon my ignorance, but what is spinning. I know it must be different than spinning a yarn because your muscles are sore!

It's stationary bikes. They just call it spinning. I have NO idea why. Maybe because the front wheel looks like a spinning wheel. I dunno. Sure is a good workout though! WOW.

haha... ok. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that at first. I really need to get my head out of my craft basket and get my butt to the gym.
