christmas

"Boxing Day" or "Blitzing the House"

I got this new shampoo conditioner from Lawrence for Christmas that is peppermint and tingles ones scalp in a most delightful fashion. I was thrilled to get it ...it's the kind he uses and he would always get irritated at me for using it. He told me a HILARIOUS story about one of his roommates using it with the warning that it was for HEAD ONLY. The first few seconds on regular non scalpy skin and hair is "woo! TINGLY!" Then it feels like Icy Hot! AAAAAA!!!!

He said he heard some yelling/screaming from the bathroom and shortly after saw his roommate walking rather stiffly out of the bathroom. BUA HA HA!!!

Lawrence and I ran a few errands today...I wanted to check on memory prices for my G3 and he wanted to look and see if he could find a front USB panel for my mom's computer. The memory was more expensive than what I had seen online and he couldn't find the panel but he DID indulge me and let me drool over a video iPod. Mmmm...video iPod.

All things considered it wasn't too horrendous at the stores we stopped by but I shuddered a bit as we went by the nearby Wal-Mart. SO glad I haven't been anywhere NEAR that store for holiday shopping!

When we got home we were both feeling whiny for my mom's cinnamon rolls. She wanted to go to Deseret Book so we blitz cleaned the house and now it is clean and she has no excuse...so sweet rolls it is! YAY! I WAS going to be spending the night back in my place in SLC tonight but apparently the furnace has cut out and I have no desire to sleep in a freezing cold basement kthxbye.

Mark has spent all day at the vet. His cat Birki is extremely ill. He took her to the emergency clinic on Christmas night and the prognosis doesn't look good. He is transfering her care to the nearby vet as soon as they open tomorrow...but the BIG worry is on how to get her home.
