Flying Ace

Amazing the difference a few nice days make.

Well, my meeting with the director of the TV Station went very very well. Turns out I haven't been ripped off (which rather came as a relief,) they had been doing the other series for a little over a year. I AM puzzled that I was asked to develop something so similar, but for the most part I came out of the meeting with a lot more opportunities.
I'm now getting a new pitch ready to go for Thursday. I'm retooling my "On the Spot" series since the WB just came out with a new show with the same name. (Mine and theirs have absolutely nothing in common except for the name but still...) I think I'll change it to "Spotlight On..." We'll see how it goes. It should be a lot of fun and I think it's got some great potential.

The weather here has been wonderful. Spring really seems to have sprung. I always feel like I am coming out of hibernation in the winter, that I'm shaking off the darkness and blinking awake to life again. There is just a giddiness that comes upon me. I find I'm actually looking forward to things again.

I'm expecting a visit from my Kiwi friend in a few weeks and then at some point in May I hope to be winging it up to Oh Canada. We'll see how it goes.
