"Hi, this is Tom from Signature Publishing..."
Who? I don't owe them any money... "Um, hi Tom from Signature Publishing...what can I do for you?"
"Hey, I just saw the latest issue of Sunstone and your cartoons are terrific!"
"Oh, thanks! That issue is out now?"
"Oh yeah, for just a couple of days. I'm actually friends with the guys down there so I got to see some of your stuff early. I was wondering a couple of things... first, I was wondering if some of your prints were for sale as well as originals..."
"Uh, sure. Prints are for sale..."
Oh man! People want to buy ORIGINALS! I need to start drawing on nicer paper!!!
"We were also wondering if maybe you would be interested in doing a compilation of some of your cartoons..."
"Um, yeah, I'd be totally interested in doing something like that!"
So, I have a meeting today at 2:00 to discuss possibly doing a book of cartoons with these guys. See, I was thinking, maybe after a few issues were out, possibly getting some of my stuff in the New Era, perhaps, perhaps I could do a compilation but hey, I'm up for beating the timeline.
AND I have a quick meeting with Sunstone about the cover for the next issue. Very cool. Very cool indeed. :D
