Perhaps I should be posting all this on enjoytheshow, but the bottom line was... I was freakin' tired when I walked out of the theater and into Kamille's class.
So, most of my gestures that night were pretty much garbage until the very last one.
It's 5 minutes and I think it came out pretty well.
(...had a good time AFTER the class too. Saw the midnight Harry Potter with a date no less. At least I think it was a date. I'll have to check. ) (AND...our theater was number SIX in the nation for Harry Potter opening day and number 36 for opening weekend. That's HUGE when you consider we only have 12 screens. Okay, enough theater talk, I promise.)
NAKED TUESDAY: It's a BOY!
Had a good night. Steve was back lookin' better than ever. Why is it the best male models have boyfriends?
Five minute gesture
Okay, okay...so I've had this HUGE mental block for quite a while with regards to drawing on nice paper. I would get nice paper and completely freeze up with it. I'm talking major choke here. So, I've been putting myself under a bit of a program to wean me off newsprint. I started drawing on napkin bags (honestly not too bad,) and have been using almost exclusively my homemade sketchbook. The paper in it was kind of a soft manilla...not GREAT but again, better than newsprint.
So, tonight after some good gestures with Steve I looked at the sheet of nice paper I got for my drawing class and got an oh so wild and crazy gleam in my eye. So here it is...Jett draws on NICE paper.
(Now, I do have a critique of this one...the proportions are nice but it looks a little flat. I need to learn how to control the white a little bit better. )
Whaddya think sirs?
