"Day One!" or "Looking Ahead"

It has been a slow and lazy day which turned out to couple quite well with the rather slow and lazy day we had yesterday. There was quite a bit of organizing that went on which was great to finally have happen. We went out to eat at a little Salvadorano restaurant which was great...I hadn't had real pupusas since my mission. Lisa got a plate of fried platanos which I don't think she really had since HER mission.
At midnight we looked out of the windows in the kitchen and watched the many fireworks displays.
I have mentioned before that I love New Years and this year is no exception. I love the sense of optimism, renewal and hope.

There are many things I want to work on this year.

1. Be more productive.
This means Red Sparrow, Frakking Toasters, Daily Doodles etc.
Rework the Puzzles trilogy and have it published by Comic Con
Have Scrivener's Toves published by Comic Con
Network with more artists I admire and want to work with.
Finish another animated short I can consider a "show off piece."

2. Be more healthy.
This means quitting sugar and white flour ... which always make me sick.
Drink at least 2 liters of WATER a day.
50 pushups a day MINIMUM.
Hitting the gym at least 4 times a week
Making it to a krav class at least 3 times a week.
Going climbing with Lisa at least once a month.
Run at least 3 5Ks.
Be a level 3 krav student by the end of the year.

3. Be more spiritual.
Morning and evening prayers
15 minutes of scripture reading
pray and look for opportunities to serve

The Water Drinking goal is a good one to note; I think that I will adopt that one too.

I'm really impressed by your list. And really impressed by your krav goals. I wish I had somewhere to train around here...maybe I'll check out the Okinawan dojo and see what they're like.

I hope you get all those productivity goals accomplished, if only because I REALLY want to see what you come up with! I desperately want a copy of the Puzzle trilogy, and I kinda want you to get Scrivener's Toves published so's I can get in on the next round. ;-)

I've had platanos since my mission... There are somethings that just can't wait over a decade. ;)
